The Magewell Pro Capture SDI 4K Plus is a single channel 12G-SDI capture device that allows you to capture one 12G-SDI signal in one of the following connecting methods:
- Single-link 12G-SDI
- Dual-link 6G-SDI
- Quad-link 3G-SDI
IMPORTANT: This card can not capture 4x 3G-SDI or 2x 6G-SDI signals separately for it is only an one channel capture card. It gives you the possibility to offer a 12G-SDI signal in the 3 different ways as described above.

Magewell Pro Capture SDI 4K Plus
The Magewell Pro Capture SDI 4K Plus captures 4K resolution video using the low-profile PCI Express x4 capture card. The Capture Card is compatible with DCI 4K and UHD video formats up to 4096 x 2160, and features four high-definition BNC ports out of which two support SDI formats up to 3G-SDI, one up to 6G-SDI, and one up to 12G-SDI. Capture uncompressed video from a camera or switcher’s SDI output on your computer for recording, editing, or streaming.
The Magewell Pro Capture SDI 4K Plus is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. Extraction of audio-formation and channel-status data is supported as are closed caption and multiple color spaces in 8- and 10-bit formats. Video processing features include frame-rate conversion, cropping, scaling, de-interlacing, and aspect-ratio conversion. Multiple Magewell 11180 cards can be used and numbered in one system.
