System installers in need of a discrete in-ceiling speaker with network capabilities will be impressed with the MuxLab 40W Dante In-Ceiling PoE Speaker, an all-in-one 6.5″ speaker system, featuring a built-in amplifier and designed for voice announcements and background music in public, residential, and commercial environments. The economical system connects to a Dante network using a single RJ45 cable for both power (PoE) and digital audio connectivity.
The speaker is designed with linear sound source technology and features excellent dispersion with a smooth, wide frequency response from 90 Hz to 16 kHz. Dante controller software is available for free to control various functions and settings including gain, mute, a 5-band parametric EQ, and a limiter.
